We are a Cohousing with a Difference
It's electrifying ....
Living green was always a goal from the very beginning. We planned and designed the building with this in mind, so there is no natural gas on site. Instead every unit has its own heat pump. In 2024, solar panels were installed to optimize our electricity consumption.

Cohousing is NOT Co-op
Cohousing is sometimes erroneously confused as co-op. Cohousing is like other strata in that it is governed by the BC Strata Property Act and Strata Regulations. Owners own their units, unlike in a co-op where you have a share.
While Cohousing is legally a strata, a big difference is that it is a strata with hearts, hands and minds. It is about living in a community of choice that encourages caring and sharing (hearts), contributions and participation by all (hands) and where all ideas and voices are welcome (minds).
